Reproduction of a declaration made by the Continental Congress, signed on its behalf by Hancock and detailing the grievances of the assembled continental congress, and the events leading to its meeting. Includes an account of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first of the revolutionary war, and also speaks of possible reconciliation with the metropole.
